About Me

Introduction: Hi there, I’m Martha, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way to my little corner of the world.
For over 30 years, I’ve been shaping plates, bowls, and mugs from clay — with patience, care, and a quiet dedication to craft.
What began as a simple passion turned into something so much more: a way to connect with people like you, who find joy in the imperfect beauty of handmade things.

The Journey: It all started in a small garden shed, with a bag of clay and a secondhand wheel. From the very first moment my hands touched the clay, I was captivated by the process — the feel of the earth, the rhythm of the wheel, the quiet anticipation of opening the kiln. Over the years, my home studio has filled with shelves of hand-thrown plates and cups. No two are exactly alike — each one carries its own shape, its own glaze, its own small story. And somehow, these pieces found their way into homes across the world — shared over dinners, given as gifts, cherished in everyday rituals.

Why I Love What I Do: Crafting porcelain has always been about more than just the final piece. It’s about the slow, thoughtful process. The patience it takes. The pride that comes from creating something lasting and real.

Looking Ahead: I’m not closing my workshop, far from it.
Thanks to people like you, who value the handmade and the heartfelt, I can keep doing what I love. And to say thank you, I’ve opened a short-lived sale on some of my favorite designs. Not to end anything, but to celebrate what we’ve built together.

Thank you for being here. For supporting real craft. For seeing beauty in the quiet, handmade moments.
Your support means the world to me and I’m so glad you’re part of this journey.

With warmth,
Martha
